Provision of assistance to next of kin and others in completing the process required for decedent identification

Provision of information to next of kin or designated persons regarding release status of decedents

Preparation of death certificates for all agency cases

Preparation of paperwork for all cases (i.e., unclaimed remains) referred for public disposition – unclaimed remains are disposed of by the District after 30 days of receipt of the decedent by the agency

Receipt of payments from next of kin or designated persons, funeral directors and others for cremation requests, proof of death forms and other documents |
